The hunt is on to fill Regis Philbin’s sizable shoes on Live! with Regis & Kelly. Today’s latest rumor is sort of perplexing, but I don’t think anyone would argue with the upgrade in eye candy.

I am shamefully admitting that I am a life-long All My Children fan (I know, I know) and therefore have always loved Kelly Rippa (Haley) and ADORED Josh Duhamel (Leo) when he was on it. I have never seen ‘Las Vegas’ but thought he was pretty good in the first Transformer flick. I don’t watch Regis regularly but get updates from my mom who watches all the time, I think he might be good. Would be a very different show but he is pretty nice to look at…. I also loved Mark Consuelos (Mateo) when he was on AMC but I think it would be too cutesy to have the husband-wife thing every day. Clearly, way too much thought went into this comment but there you go….
If they were smart they’d go with some Latin stud. I wanna say John Leguizamo, but he’s a bit of a loose cannon (he introduced Matt LeBlanc as his “stunt cunt” on live TV during a VHI awards show a while back.)
Anyway, he’s the only hunky, witty Latin guy I can think of right now who also badly needs a job.
