Check Out The First Thirteen Minutes of ‘Jersey Shore’

Grab the antibacterial lotion! It’s almost time for Jersey Shore to make its triumphant return. Chances are the second season will be nowhere as good as the first (assuming, of course, you thought the first was good), but nevertheless, it will surely still make for interesting TV. On the heels of last night’s MTV Movie Awards, MTV has released the first thirteen minutes of the new season on the internet. Some things have changed — the kids seem a bit self-aware now, as feared — but even despite that, there are still a handful of chuckles to be had.

Should you not want to waste your time with the above clip, don’t worry. Movieline has conveniently compiled a quick digest of the video’s most important revelations. Check that out here.

  1. When Angelina, Sammi and Ronnie come on the screen, I instantly become bored. MTV shoulda axed them and run full throttle with The Situation, Pauly D, Vinny, J-WOWW and Snooki. That’s where the money’s at.

  2. Who knew that Obama put a tax on TANNING??!!? The horror… I guess he really is a socialist. LOL! That had me rolling.

Also, did we learn nothing from ‘My Cousin Vinny’ about big american cars and the mud in the South?

I was thinking this was going to be a disaster but the preview actually gave me hope! Will we have photocaps to make it even better?
