Hollywood became a little less cool today as acclaimed acting legend Paul Newman passed away at 83 after a long battle with cancer. Oddly enough, last night at the supermarket, I contemplated purchasing a Newman’s Own Peanut Butter Cup, but then opted against it for fear that it wouldn’t live up to my expectations. Still, I noted Paul Newman on the packaging and kind of laughed. Little did I realize that the poor guy was on death’s door. Alas.
Okay, this eulogy is idiotic. The point is that he died, and it’s sad. For more information, click here.

Damn he was good looking…..I can only hope Turner Classic Movies will have a marathon soon.
On a side note, I never took Newman’s Own brand very serioulsy either! All because of that goofy looking illustration on front
Appreciate the tribute, however awkward. My cousin was his first camper at the Hole In The Wall. He was a good guy.
B-Side, I love your eulogies!
B-Side, I always though that Paul Newman would have been perfect for the male lead in your movie “Dead Girls don’t Bitch”.
This is truely sad.
Maybe you can still get Redford.
