That’s it. I can’t take it with this Twilight nonsense. I’m gonna rent the damn movie, get drunk, and watch it. Maybe even live blog it. Before that happens though, here are a bunch of tweens and teens reacting to the New Moon trailer as if they were watching the live assassination of a world leader. Who knew lupine transformations could be so thrilling to the under-age set? Then again, there is a video of me out there reacting in a similar manner to Julie Chen saying “But First” on TV three years ago. So to each his own, I suppose. But seriously, these kids need to get a grip.
(My sister-in-law, my cousin, and my friend Lbucha are of course exempt from any disdain.)

I actually have twilight on Blu Ray from Netlflix right now, if you want to schedule a showing this week.
How convenient.
This plan is coming together quite nicely!
I thought you were being cruel with that title . . . and then I watched the video. My bad.
I watched Twilight on a plane recently (on the flight to LA last month, actually) and it wasn’t as horrendous as I thought it would be. I don’t need to see it again, but it kept me mildly entertained across the country’s mid-section.
Oh please live blog it, that movie is so bad its good. I mean the guy in the movie glows. In the sun. GLOWS like he just used 2 or 3 bottle of Jergens shimmer moisturizer. You just have to live blog because I know it would be brilliant, in fact if you do live blog it, Ill even make myself watch it again.
Yes, I feel I should clarify that Twilight doesn’t appeal solely to chubby girls and gay boys. Those are just the demographics who are profiled in the above incredibly shrieky video.
I think you need to read the book in order to “enjoy” the movie. Even then, it kinda sucks.
It really was the laziest screenplay ever, essentially whatever happened in the book was translated onto the screen regardless of whether its something that can even be translated to the screen. It just didn’t work. According to wiki it took her 5 weeks to write, which seems pretty quick to me.
The title reminded me of those ads that MSR had for a while–those gay chubby dating ads.
You need to watch so I don’t have to. My secret shame is that I tried reading the book a year ago. It was before the movie was made but the hype on this convinced me it was a Harry Potter/Buffy hybrid. Boy was I wrong. I made it 1/3 of the way through the book before I stopped. I could go on and on about spoiled the main character Bella is or how deeply written Edward is (he’s hot, that’s his character) but I can sum this book up in 4 words: My First Harlequin Romance.
Please watch this movie. The only thing better than not watching it would be listening to those who have watched it bash it.
thanks for excluding me from chub category … but i am gaga for twilight
A drunken live blog of Twilight could possibly be the best thing ever. I can’t wait!
Hi guys,
My name is William and I am from Stirling in the United Kingdom. I have the other day discovered this forum and I like it very much.
I am a little bit shy so I wont talk much about me but maybe when I will get more confortable, you guys will get to know me better!
My main hobbies are playing chess and watching movies. I also love outdoor activites but the temperature has been very bad for the last weeks or so here in Stirling.
I was wondering if anyone else here is from the united Kingdom too?
I am glad to have joined this forum!
Have a nice day!
🙂
William
