Since the tragic suicide of Russell Armstrong last week, rumors about the Real Housewives husband have sprung up on nearly every corner of the Internet. However, his sister Laurie Kelsoe spoke to The Fix this week to set the record straight. According to her, Russell was not a wife-beater, not a crook, and not gay (maybe I’m crazy, but I hadn’t heard that rumor yet). Furthermore, Kelsoe has harsh words for Taylor Armstrong, calling her “a thief and a liar.” And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

For all of Kelsoe’s angry attacks on Taylor, Bravo, and the situation in general, be sure to check out the full article, which also delves into Russell’s surprising interest in recovery programs and addiction.

  1. That has to be the saddest article I have read in a long long time. There’s nothing more I can say except that he should now rest in peace whereever his remains are scattered. He never really seemed comfortable in Beverly Hills to me anyway.
Taylor makes me want to puke…always has and always will. She’s as phony as a 3 dollar bill.
Sorry for being such a Debbie Downer today.

  2. Remember when Russell bought Kennedy the puppy for her birthday, and she LOVED it, and all Taylor thought about was herself? How can he do something to make this party less about ME? How can he leave this puppy here for ME to take care of?

l very sorry for that little girl…

    1. Do you mean the puppy that Russell knew Kennedy was ALLERGIC to, resulting in her having to get medical treatment?

      Nice revisionist history.

  3. I feel no empathy for the people involved. So many lives have been destroyed because of the greed of the Russell Armstrongs and Taylors of the world. Each was aware that the other was a liar and a thief, and it was all fine until the money ran out. Like with the Giudices, my sympathy goes to the people who got stiffed and lost their jobs due to these assholes.

  4. I’m always amazed (but shouldn’t be) at the lengths some people will go to in order to claim their “share” of celebrity. If you want to ruin your own life then so be it. However, when you are dragging your family (husband and child) through your mud in order to get more television face time then you should be beyond ashamed. When will the television public stop watching and rewarding people, who are one step below trash, for airing their dirty laundry publicly? And to Russell’s sister, while you might want the best for your brother it would be far more beneficial that you keep your mouth shut. Nobody, absolutely NOBODY, knows what another person is capable of, or even who they really are for that matter – allow Russell the dignity of staying silent. The more people protest the more others are going to dig for the “real” truth – it’s all better left alone.
